Fable Designs - High quality, limited edition products that blur the line between art and design

Client Background

Melbourne designer Sarah O’Sullivan created Fable in 2007, to explore her unconventional perspective on fabric print design.

Fable’s philosophy is to create high uality, limited edition products that blur the line between art and design. By overlaying screen-printed images on digitally printed silk, each Fable product becomes a unique work. The prints have been developed from sketches, collages and paintings inspired by the subtle familial beauty of objects found in the urban landscape.

Sarah’s work has been featured in several exhibitions and design awards. In 2006 her work was shortlisted for the Premier’s Design Award student category for Fashion & Textiles. Her work was also selected for the FRESH exhibition at Craft Victoria in 2005, which featured works by tertiary students from across Victoria. Sarah continues to work on exhibition work and design for clients in the fashion and homewares sector.

Our Solution

Sitescene worked with Fable Designs to capture the existing design themes and built a small functional online presence. The web site is of course XHTML Compliant.
